Please read and sign the following non-transferable agreement.
This puppy is in good health at the time of delivery. No warranty or guarantee is made to the show quality, lifespan, size, color, disposition, or breeding quality of this puppy. The buyer has three working days to have the puppy checked by a licensed veterinarian. If the veterinarian discovers the puppy to be unsound, it can be returned for a full refund on purchase price with shipping expenses to be paid by the buyer. This is provided the puppy is returned within two weeks of possession and is accompanied by a letter from the examining veterinarian stating in what respect the puppy is unsound. The breeder will not supply a refund in the event of any problem that is not related to a life-threatening congenital defect nor for a puppy’s illness caused by accident, neglect, or abuse. The breeder will not be liable for any veterinary bills or other expenses related to the puppy. Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose the puppy with a life-threatening genetic defect that is determined to have been present since birth, the breeder will refund the full purchase price for up to one year from the date of purchase. In the event of the puppy’s death, an official autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death. Such an autopsy must be performed by an accredited institution set up for such procedures, with all expenses to be paid by the buyer. The autopsy must accompany any request for a refund. This guarantee is void if the buyer fails to maintain recommended vaccinations and/or regular examinations with a licensed veterinarian. Proof of this maintenance must be furnished upon request of the breeder.
If puppy is found to be unsound by a licensed veterinarian within three working days after taking possession of the puppy, buyer will notify seller immediately with a statement by buyer’s veterinarian. Failure to have puppy examined within this time period voids the warranty. We extend this warranty for a period of (1) one year on LIFE THREATENING CONGENITAL DEFECTS ONLY. We do not guarantee against hypoglycemia, parasites, coccidia or respiratory infections. These conditions can show up in any puppy at any time and can be easily rectified with proper veterinary care. Information on hypoglycemia is given with all puppy purchases.
Hernias, umbilical or inguinal, are also a non-life threatening condition. Customer is aware of these conditions at time of purchase.
If puppy is found to be unsound by a licensed veterinarian within three working days after taking possession of the puppy, buyer may return the puppy to the seller for a full refund on purchase price. If buyer elects to keep said dog, no monies will be returned and any and all expenses incurred are the sole responsibility of the buyer. Return to the seller shall be the buyer's sole responsibility, and all care for the health and safety of the puppy shall be made. For example, non-stop flight, temperature, etc.
If a puppy does need to be returned, all papers given at time of purchase must be returned to us. At that time a refund of puppy purchase price only will be considered.
Always make sure puppy gets plenty of fresh water, appropriate food and rest. Puppies are babies and need to be treated as such. This is very important where hypoglycemia is concerned.
We are always available to help our buyers in any way we can. If necessary, we are willing to consult with your veterinarian about your puppy's health.
We do all we can to assure that you get a healthy, happy and well socialized puppy that will be a welcome addition to your family.
For your puppy's well being, it is extremely important to follow your veterinarian's recommended vaccine and health treatment regimen.
The Buyer also agrees to the following:
1. Puppy will live inside the home which will be air-conditioned and heated, for the entirety of its life, and will always be an integral family member not confined to a kennel, crate, or cage.
a. When outside for walks or play puppy will be in a secured fenced yard or on leash.
2. Puppy will receive yearly vet examinations.
a. Yearly vaccinations should adhere to state laws and current vaccination protocol as set for by the veterinary institutions. Lepto and corona vaccinations are not advised due to high reaction risk, however buyer may elect to have their general practice veterinarian give these vaccines. Buyer does so at their own risk.
3. Buyer strongly recommends that puppy be kept on a monthly worm medication that will protect it from heart worm and other parasites.
a. Heart Guard and Interceptor are preferred.
b. External parasite control should be limited to Frontline or Advantage for the safety of the dog.
4. Puppy will never be left unattended outside for extended periods of time. Buyer will consider temperature and weather conditions before doing so.
a. This included x-pens at show sites.
b. Puppy will NEVER be left alone in a car.
c. If the puppy is left in a motor home, it will only be done if it is air-conditioned, and a generator or electricity is available to run air conditioner or heater.
