Happy Homes

Luke and Libby

Here are pictures taken today of the "kids."  Libby just is a wild one-could hardly get her to stand still.  They love to run on the lawn in the leaves and play.  We love them so much.  They know when they go on the grass it's "potty time" and when we are gone they rarely miss the papers!  Dennis and Betsy

Suki and Genji

A year and a half ago my family adopted a six month old female Chin named Devyn.  We renamed her Suki and love her to pieces.  She's amazing and perfect in every way except.. there is only one of her, and we are ready to expand our family.  Update, after adopting Genji: Needless to say, little Genji has settled in and made himself at home.  I'm not sure which of them is the biggest clown.  We're all very happy with the new family member.  Mel

Martini

I just wanted to drop you a line and let you know he's absolutely beautiful and so smart.  He's doing wonderful!!!!  He is a little sad as his buddy, Jasper the basset hound, moved to Washington state about two weeks ago.  Those two were joined at the hip.  He really is a wonderful companion and so sweet.  He likes to be up high though...I noticed a couple of your pictures show your dogs on the back of the sofa.  I guess this breed just likes to jump and be up high.  Anyway, I wanted to thank you again...he is such a sweetheart.   Debra

Miso Bella

Miso is doing great, thank you so much for asking. She's recently found her voice (and her teeth) and is full of energy and personality. She even knows how to play fetch! She has these little squeaky squirrels and loves to chase them and bring them back to me so I can throw them again.  Here are a few recent pictures....Patti

Here is the puppy announcement from Miso's family  =)

Sumo, Geisha and Mushu

As you can see...they are all just fine. Geisha is such a darling and they all play together like the best of friends.  Katie and Brendan

Satsuki and Haku

Just a quick note to let you know Satsuki Mei is doing very well.  We start our puppy training classes Monday and our whole family is in love!  You are breeding beautiful intelligent dogs and I thank you.  Update after adopting Haku:  Satsuki and Haku are getting along really well. Satsuki is sooo patient. Haku is very cute and the howl is totally adorable. We hope he does not grow out of it. More photos and stories will follow.  Derek

Oni and Shoki

Oni is doing very well with potty training (hasn't had an accident in I don't know how long!) and doing very well with basic commands.  Everyone he meets his tail just wags so fast! Everyone loves him...how could they not?  Update: Oni and Shoki are doing sooo well! Shoki fully knows sit, has not had an accident at all this past week, and plays with Oni so well :)  she is such a firecracker! So much more outgoing then Oni was at her age!  Her and Oni continue becoming closer and closer. She's all about her older brother :) Although she has started to "cuddle" more with us lately. She is getting used to a harness and has been on the leash a couple of times and is doing so well! She is even learning (mostly through her brother) to sit :) She is also very vocal, much more than Oni. It is very interesting some of the noises that come out of her! Oh and she is sleeping through the night just fine and eating very well :)   Megan and Brandon

Mischa

Just wanted to provide an update on Mischa's progress, she is now slightly over 6lbs in weight, loves playing and as you can see still seeks out and continues to play with her Elephant toy that you sent with her back in November.  She is growing into a beautiful Chin, is adapting so well into the household and definitely a credit to her breed.  Update: Mischa is now a little over 10 months old, doing exceptionally well growing up.  Her favorite things are going for walks, eating and playing with us or Emilie, and is spoiled rotten.  She sleeps close to us, and has relegated Emilie to her overstuffed doggy bed (we think it was time, as Emilie is getting a little too old to jump up on the bed now anyway).  She is very healthy and active and a joy to us.    Pete and Elisabeth

Ringo

Just wanted to let you know that Ringo is doing quite well.  Every day he becomes more outgoing and playful.  He is such a sweet dog with just a touch of mischief.  We love him so much.  Dave and Lisa

Ruby

Ruby is great. She watches Animal Planet all the time & just plays & plays. She is such a joy to have.  B.J.

Manzo and Lady

Manzo is so funny.   He can climb up the stairs, but he can't come back down yet.  So we're just babying him till he's comfortable.  He's so darn smart!   We got him howling last night.  We were singing to him, and he lifted his head and just howled with us.  We love him so much.  Lady is doing wonderfully.  Lady and Manzo are so funny to watch.  Right now they’re laying in the living room together watching a dog show on the animal channel.   They lie together and watch t.v.  I usually leave the animal channel on in the living room for them to watch.  Angela

Aiko

Aiko is doing great and we adore her. We think she is the smartest of all our chins because she quickly learned to climb our five story cat condo to get to the cat food. We quickly had to make new arrangements.  She also learned sit, shake and down quickly by watching her brothers. Mary and Larry

Yoshi

Yoshi is doing fine, everyone loves him.  He is really funny and so cute.

Claudia

Max

I thought you'd want to know how Max is faring in his new home.  Cha-cha, at 16 weeks, is the same size as Max; though Max feels heftier than her.  Cha-cha recently "found" her voice, so when she saw Max, she barked quite a bit in excitement and then rushed over to lick him over & over.  It was cute!  Max is so adorably sweet!  He's got such a tender, warm & friendly personality.  Ann
