About Us

 

Hello and welcome to Royal Crown Chins!  My name is Christine, and together with my husband, Adam, and our son, Drew, born in spring 2008, we raise and love our chins every day.  We are happy to share with you pictures and video of our beautiful dogs.

 

We are a small hobby "show breeder" located in California's San Joaquin Valley.  We occasionally have pet and show prospect puppies available.  We breed for health, temperament and conformation.  We do not breed tiny "teacup" size chins.  Our chins usually mature at 5-9 lbs, although on occasion they may be slightly smaller or larger. 

 

We are not a kennel and we strongly oppose puppy mills, farms and kennels.  Our dogs live in our home with us and are made a part of our family.  If you are looking for a puppy, please choose very carefully from whom you buy your puppy from.  Puppy mills are a sad, terrible place and anyone who purchases a puppy from a puppy mill only fuels the fire!  Puppy mills are much more common than people realize.  Check how many puppies the breeder has available--this will be a good indication of whether it is a puppy mill if there are many puppies for sale.  Ask a lot of questions and ask for pictures of where the puppies are raised!  Pick up your puppy in person if possible.
